Warmest, Most Buttery, Lots of Low End Pickup
« on: December 04, 2013, 09:39:56 PM »
Hi Gents,

I'm trying to track down the warmest, mellowest, most buttery pickup made that also has lots of buttery low end - not "tight", articulate low end.

I'm a long time Gibson 57 user, and I will continue to be, but I'm looking for something even more buttery with lots of depth on the low end.

I also like a nice chimey treble mixed in but I would achieve that by putting the buttery pickup in the neck and blending it with a different pickup in the bridge.

I generally prefer Humbuckers and P90's but I'm open to anything.

The best I have found thus far:

Thanks very much for your time.
