First post by the way but I'm not planning to be a stranger. So hi to you all as well.
I'm building a guitar which is nearing completion. For pickups it has a BNP nailbomb, a Fender Texas Special in the middle and a Fernandes FSK 401 Sustainer driver in the neck position. All three pickups are connected to the Sustainer board before going to the pickup selector. As is standard practice when you're using a Fernandes Sustainer. All pickups give sound and by themselves sound as the should. I'm not using any coil tapping or splitting so I soldered the green and white wires together. Red, black and ground are wired to the Sustainer board with red being the hot signal and black and ground soldered to ground.
My question is, whenever I set the pickup selector to the in between setting between the Nailbomb and the Texas Special the sound completely changes. Separately they each sound awesome, together its like all the bass and lower mids are sucked out of the signal. Since I'm assuming this isn't normal I'm hoping anyone here knows the solution.
Thanks in advance!
