too bad :( I was thinking it might not have a metal baseplate fitted.. but if it already does then you'll need to move it on if you don't like it after playing with the height.

Not really! Would have liked that. Using it with a Peavey 5150 as well, I have an SG with a Nailbomb that sounds fine, Tele with Piledrivers sounds fine. This one just comes up a bit flat for me.

Have 500k pots been fitted, or does it still have 250k? That would open the sound up with the sinner.

You ought to be able to sell that sinner pretty easily on the bay.

Yeah I would go for a bigger pot.  I run 500K pots and a 0.033uf ceramic cap with modern wiring (treble bleed) on my Stockholm equipped SG Junior and it's the duck's guts.
