Sinner vs Trilogy
« on: June 05, 2015, 02:24:48 PM »
Contemplating getting one of these sets for my Fender Strat, rosewood board. I'm a huge Yngwie fan, so the Trilogy has always intrigued me. I have a neck version trilogy in one of my HSS guitars, and to be honest I'm a little underwhelmed with it, doesn't seem like it has much power and the middy tone sounds weak. But when I hear the bridge in other people's clips it sounds pretty good but more hard rock flavoured.

The Sinner sounds like just straight-on metal with more scoop, but the notes seem to hit more clear and powerful so I'm leaning towards this set.

Anyone have experience with both?

I'm interested in the replies to this too.  Based on the sound clips, I'm probably going to get 'The Sinner' to sit between a pair of Warpigs.
