Hi guys.
Just thought I'd post about a guitar I got yesterday after a trade with Toe-Knee, you may remember his earlier thread on it:

It's a Stormshadow (luthier based in Sheffield) VH150 and looking at the banana headstock I guess it takes quite an influence from a Kramer Baretta? Although I'm no expert on that sort of thing

It's about as simple as it gets really: Alder body, Maple neck and fretboard, Top mounted OFR set for downbends only (my preferred setup), single volume and 3 way toggle. Pickup wise it's a Bulldog Hot PAF in the bridge and the owner before Toe-Knee changed the stock Dimarzio Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues single coil to an Irongear rails style Jailhouse pickup.
Normally I'm not a fan of rails type pickups, I've never found 1 I actually like the tone of, but this 1 appears to be a bridge pickup that's been put in the neck so it's a tad brighter than a normal neck pickup. Which probably explains why I like it more

Toe-Knee put a set of 11s on it and re-jigged the OFR for my heavier strings and Eb tuning and it plays great, I'm very happy with it.
I have a BOTB type gig tonight where we only play 4 or 5 songs, 1 of which I sometimes use a trem on when we play it in the full set so I'll probably take this along and give it it's 1st outing with me.
