A few days ago I took delivery of this amazing piece of work from the Jackson Custom shop. I've always been a strat guy and I was very happy when I got the green light from Jackson for this one. For me it's the perfect fusion of new and old school adapted to what I do.

27" scale
carbon reinforced maple neckthrough with alder wings
surf green with poly clearcoat and oiled neck finish (there's a sneaky black pinstripe around the headstock that I didn't ask for, but love).
ebony fretboard w/glow in the dark side dots

same string spacing, neck profile & butt width as the B7 model (not sure what that is exactly but I love it)

I'm a big fan of simplicity when it comes to guitars so I've opted for a 3 way switch. The switching options available are neck, neck/middle and bridge because this is all I'd really use this guitar for. The middle single is RWRP so it hum cancels when the switch is in the middle position. The singles also have their hot terminal attached to ground by a 500k resistor to draw down the resistance by about 250k which gives the illusion that they're wired to a 250k pot rather than a 500. That way I can use a single volume without compromising on what I want the tone to sound like.
Tonally the guitar sounds very big and chunky, sustains better than any of my others and it's also the lightest Jackson baritone I own, probably because it's the only one without a maple cap. It's super comfy and I absolutely love it.
