Recommendation for Drop A
« on: September 18, 2016, 07:25:18 AM »
Looking for a pup recommendation for a set-up in Drop A

Guitar is an Ibby RG921QM.  Basswood body, maple top, maple / walnut neck, rosewood board.

Primarily using for modern metal / djent / prog.  Looking for something with mid to hi output, tight, and strong mid-range.

I've been thinking about either a Ceramic Warpig or Painkiller set.

I already own guitars with a set Juggs, Rebel Yells, and a VHII / Ceramic Nailbomb combo.  I would like to put something different into this guitar if possible.

Let me know what you guys think!  Thanks in advance.

Sounds like Aftermath.

I agree. C-Pig is likely to be too bassy and the PK might be a bit shrill
