ESP M-II Deluxe needs BKPs
« on: August 02, 2018, 06:11:46 PM »
Alright, friends.

By coincidence, got my hands on an ESP M-II Deluxe but the stock ESP pickups are quite poor in power so I'm looking for high-gain replacement.
I'm a huge Symphony X fanboy (thus the coincidence  :lipsrsealed: ) and would love something similar to what MJR uses but still not a clean rip.

So... Which BKPs could give a mean tone like the DiMarzio X2N?

ESP do a version of that guitar with Aftermaths as standard, so I guess they must think they are a good match.

I’ve played the ESP that comes with Aftermaths. While they aren’t really my style, I thought they worked well in that guitar. I think that would be a good place for you to start.
