White Bone / Parchment / White?
« on: April 26, 2019, 02:55:32 PM »
Hey guys, it's been a while since i've been on here!  I'm getting two strat pickups (Pat 63' Neck and Middle) along with a soapbar (Nantucket) in the bridge. I basically just want them to match in colour - The P90 comes in "white bone", which is closest?; straight white or parchment?

And on a side note, do you guys think that the pickups will be good together tone-wise? i'm going for a John Mayery/Hendrixian Neck and 4th position, and a Les Paul Jr'y Rock bridge.

I would throw a mail at the BKP-team. They can compare colours in daylight.

I think you made an excellent choice. The P90 might be a bit overpowering the single coils, but the outputdifference won't be too much. I have a Crawler/Irish Tours loaded strat and the balance is quite ok. Your combination oozes vintage vibes in all positions. Maybe I'm gonna put this combo in my next HSS-strat. I like the Pat Pends and I'm a sucker for P90's, even if I have to deal with some hum.
