Cobra T, Pot Recommendation?

Hello everyone!

Grabbing a cobra T pretty quick here just wondering what pot value people run with these? Bkp says 250 or 280, but I've seen some forum posts saying it's a pretty dark pickup and to use 500+.

You certainly can run higher than 280k, it really depends on the guitar. Changing pot value is just going to lift the ceiling on the upper treble frequencies, it won't specifically remove anything from lower down, so it's perfectly OK to tailor the pot value higher for a darker guitar. I would say 280k is a minimum.
