Polymath
« on: June 20, 2023, 12:56:52 PM »
Thank you for my Polymath bridge - what the hell kind of voodoo goes on it it? My first thought was it was less hot than the SD Custom it replaced and I wasn't sure it was for me. Then I compensated for that and hit a big chord. The clarity is astounding. It's like it has a parametric eq notching out all of the junk frequencies making the chords sound absolutely glorious no matter how much gain you add. This is the 8th HB I've had in this Custom Shop Strat and it sings on big leads. I loved how the SD Custom did that too. It's something in the upper mids that I just love in those 2 pickups but the rhythm side of things is where the Polymath has astounded me. Thank you so much. I dont think there will be a 9th pickup needed for this guitar.

We're glad that you're enjoying the Polymath so much! Certainly a great set for a broad tone, without too many bumps and spikes
