Manson MBM-2 : pickup recommandation?
« on: September 14, 2023, 09:39:26 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm the new owner of a Cort Manson MBM-2 sustainiac guitar.
I would like to change the bridge pickup, the neck being a Sustainiac. I already own a bariton chapman with ragnaroks, and i'm very happy with it.

I play a lot of metal, but also some other styles, more rock-based.
I think I would need a pickup that is quite metal oriented but still versatile.

From what I know, Matt Bellamy used a MBK-2, which I think is based on the Nailbomb.
But i'd like to get some advice, because i'm a bit lost seeing all the pickups available (aftermath, juggernauts, etc)

Thank you!

Crawler could do.
Cold Sweat n&b (Jackson RR1)
The Mule bridge, Pat. Veneer '63 mid, Stormy Monday neck (MM Silhouette)
'63 veneer m (Hamer Centaura)
Crawler
