I tend to use it with the bridge rolled off to add some edge to the neck tone, or with the neck rolled off to fatten up a bridge tone.

Pot Belly blues band does

Wayne the guitarist in the pot belly blues band uses both together, but turns the neck pickup down slightly to get that old greeny/Clapton sound.


But he is looking at getting some bareknuckles made out of phase, he uses irish tours in his strat which he no longer uses at the moment
