I've got this old Squier that I wanted to fix up. First thing is I have to put a new neck on it. The truss rod cavity is stripped. I think I'm going to get a wenge/ebony from Warmoth. Which will give it a warmer sound sound than the original neck would. Also it has an agathis body which is a mahognay type wood from waht I understand. So I'm looking for a slightly brighter than normal set of Strat pickups. Also I want them to be overwound, I was thinking the Trilogies, but I read they're warmer than normal singles. Do you guys think they would mud up in this guitar?
