Tele set: i dont currently own one but gonna get by end of this year or early next year a MIJ thinline with HSS configure (hum at the neck)... so any help?... i woud like a hot hum at the bridge yet still have the legendary twang... mid single would like a vintage sound with clarity... the hum would like a thick sounding kinda pickup and vintage output as well
Hey, when you say you want a hot humbucker at the bridge, so you mean a single-coils-sized one? Because you said that the guitar will be H/S/S, with the humnucker at the neck.
If you want a single-coil-sized humbucker, then BKP doesn't make them, since they don't like how they sound. You can get a very hot single-coil though, called
The Sinner, which is as hot as a humbucker, but doesn't cancel hum.
As for your other Tele pickups, I'll let the Tele users here chime in on that one.
