Welcome to the forum- nice guitars- I would seriously like one myself am not an expert on humbuckers-others here will be able to help but the Mules are built to original PAF spec and the Stormy Mondays are classic vintage humbuckers. Either will be great and it depends upon what sort of stuff you are really into. The "Stormies"  think are lower output and more geared to blues. Wait for the cavalry- they will correct anything I have got wrong.

I agree with the vote for the Mule, they'd sound ace in a Tokai.

It abosultely HAS to be Stormy Mondays.  They're slightly lower output than Mules, so with them installed, and a decent gap between the strings and the pickups, you'll get a really chunky sound that will emphasise the natural tone of the 335.

Perfect  :D

I have a set of the new Unpotted Stormy Monday's on order for my 335.  With a lower output pickup more of the sound of the guitar will come through.
So many pickups, so little time
