I have a Crawler/Irish Tour/Irish Tour set in my 1993 Fender Strat and it's a very versatile guitar imo.
In all honesty, the Crawler doesn't seem like a high output pickup to my ears. Other higher output pickups I've tried always seem to push the amp harder and produce less of a clean sound. Whereas the Crawler to my ears sounds more like a PAF style pickup but with just a little more power. It still has a very nice clean tone to it and is big and open.
From the demo sound clips I certainly have to agree! Listen to that killer clean tone! :)
