here's part of my rig, anyway.

The VC-30 and the Eggle. The indistinct black blob on the floor is a crybaby.
The Tele is off for a bit of erm...rehab at the moment. I was going to sell it and buy a feline, but those plans are on hold for the minute (Sorry, Johnathan!!) because It's perfect for a gig I've secured in the Medium-term...

So, after it's had a bit of a spruce, I'll post it too.

I'm guessing they are similar.. so. Does the VH100R need a bit of cranking to get a decent tone or is it not too bad with the master quite low?

yes and no.. you need to EQ it properly for the given volume

when i was in london, i tried it out (though it was a full stack) started with the volume very low, and had to tweak the knobs to get the desired levels of treble (low end wasnt a problem), as i turned it up (gradualy to about 6) i had to re-EQ slightly, but it only started to sound more and more massive.

striking a power chord with an all maple feline gunslinger, with the volume on 6 is brain melting!

i <3 tube amps!

oh .. the splawn.. i hate ben for his quick rod.. it's the most kickass sounding amp ever!!! but the pricetag is something i cant afford for quite a while and IMO.. the GH50L is the next best thing for me!

1 short delay on most of the time.

1 long delay.
