Well, the strap buttons on my LP always have always worked themselves loose but earlier whilst playing the whole screw decided to rip itself out (so much for strap locks ). Anyway, normally I just stuff some matchstick ends in with a load of wood glue, let it dry and screw back in, but this time seeing as the whole screw came out I thought I should do a proper job before it comes out again and I break my headstock or something..
Was thinking about drilling it out a bit then putting a rawl plug in the hole, or is that a bit too much :P Just wanted to ask here before I tried something like that then finding out it was a bad thing to do for whatever reason (tone sucking plastic!?!)
Cheers
