They're a prototype set I made for a customer-Charlie Chandler fitted them, loved them and ordered a set, Gary then bought them, charlies order another set and so it goes on.
They're based on the original Peter Green set of PAFs where the neck was repaired and rewound back to front so it was out of phase with the bridge.
The whole set is unpotted too and sound extremely authentic to that PG tone but the do a whole lot more too!

Which prompts a question - will I get the same out of phase effect by reversing the connections of the hot and ground wires of one pickup (in a 2-humbucker setup of course)?

Or is there some additional mojo in rewinding the pickup back to front?

Maybe you would need to reverse the polarity of the magnet too?  :?:
