prs replacement mule or rebel yell

What do you think would make a good choice for my prs custom 22. I will probably get rid of the toggle switch and just use a 3 way. I was considering the mule which seems to be a popular choice or the new rebel yell. Whats the difference ?  I already have a les paul, gretsch power jet,and sg standard with some MQs in it. I am looking for something a little different than what i 've got but still good for classic rock and pop.

I have Rebel Yells in my Standard 22 and VHII's in my Artist.  VHII's work really well in PRS's (the 5-way inbetween tones are great too).  The rebel yell has more mid and less bass than the VHII.  They are also awesome pickups and give incredible harmonic feedback.
So many pickups, so little time

VHIIs always sit well in PRS, Mules too.........I've personally fitted and played both.Rebel Yell should also work nicely, hotter than the other two but still nice and open.Good cleans too and the splits work very well.

I know Tim has already spoken, but I'd be real tempted to put Abraxases in a PRS, if I had one, which, sadly, I don't!  :P

Both pickups would work so well, it's a tough choice.  Like the tshirt, life is full of important choices....

There's also VHIIs, Black Dogs, and the Abraxas (Mule meets Rebel Yell?), to consider.

I have a LP loaded with a Rebel Yell set.  I can highly recommend them if you want a brighter sound which is best with a little bit of gain on them.   They're great for the slightly heavier side of rock where you want something that really screams... just think of the song Rebel Yell.  They can clean up quite nicely and you can add a lot of gain and play thrash on them as well.

If you play mostly cleaner, then you'll love the Mules for their cleaner tones.  A lot of people seem to be going Black Dog bridge and Mule neck for a slightly more aggressive bridge tone too which looks very appealing to me.
Real men turn their volume to 11!

Rebel Yells + Les Paul = the Ultimate Rock Pickup.

I have just fitted my VH II 's. They are fantastic, if you have a prs change to BNKs they transform the guitar. There is so much more juicey soul to the sound and the uncovered zebra coils look so cool as well

glad you like the VHII, im a huge VHII fan i think it's the best bridge pickup in existance.. i've got one in my strat and im afraid to say i might be getting a 2nd to go into another strat soon aswell, but different body woods.

If you get one in alder, I want to hear it!  I am considering VHIIs in my Carvin or possibly a VHII-Mule neck.
