How suitable would RYs be in an all mahogony body like an SG?
BKPS: Cryogenic Apache set, Mule set, Riff Raff, Stormy Monday.

I have a RY bridge pickup in my all-mahogany The Paul SL, and it works very well indeed!  Not a hint of muddiness, very tight and focused.  I'd be surprised if it didn't sound good in an SG too.

Don't know about the neck pickup though (mine's an Abraxas).
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I have RY's in an all mahogany PRS Standard and they sound great.
So many pickups, so little time

I have RYs in a maple top Les Paul, but I couldn't imagine there being a problem in a SG.
Real men turn their volume to 11!

Rebel Yells + Les Paul = the Ultimate Rock Pickup.
