IMHO a warpig would be overkill as to me, Opeths tone doesnt seem overly bassy or saturated. I have only played a Warpig shortly through one of Tims marshalls but it sounded a bit dull and overly bassy to me (though to be fair the amp wasnt cranked).
Well, I can even get a good tone for Opeth using my Mule loaded LP -

Ah well it was probably just the un-cranked amp then. I'd like to give a set of pigs another go through my Laney with some good crankage going on :twisted:
