if you know charvels, you know that they've ONLY been done in the usa and way prior to the start of the import line.

Well I know Charvels a lot better now than I did a few days ago!

Bascially this auction is cancelled.

It's obviously not a US charvel. The guy says it's 'Holdsworth' model (only ever made in the US), that was a 'back up guitar for Jake E Lee' (again, he only used these from about 82 when production was still at San Dimas). So his auction was obviously incredibly misinformed or deliberately telling a lie.

I (ok, my gf :) )went to the trouble of calling Jackson/Charvel Japan and they said they have never made a version of the Holdsworth model, even though someone on JCFonline says they did.;they said there are a lot of fakes around.
I told this to the guy selling it and he agreed to cancel my bid. I wonder if he'll relist it?

Id pay £300 for a Charvel anyday, Its all about the 80s superstrats, Kramers and Charvels! In my opinion you got a good deal.
