I just ordered my 1st bareknuckle pickup, a BKP 92.Its for a custom gordon smith I'm ordering.

I'm after a fat dark dirty sound with plenty of meat.
I hope I like it!!

I'm sure you'll love it.  I have several BK P-90/91/92's and all of them put out a great sound.  Welcome to the world of BK tone.
So many pickups, so little time

Yeah I did a search and I saw your threads come up a few times.
What can I expect??I was hoping for a fat dark dirty sound rather than the more vintage clear and crunchy type.

The P-92 has more bass than the usual P-90 sound.  It does drive well but still lets you know it isn't a humbucker with its raunchyness.

Hi Riff - I've just fitted a BKP91 set and am delighted with them. Very versatile - can do dark and clear/crunchy but I'm sure you've made the right choice with the BK92s for what you're looking for. Should sound great through your King Street Major

I've got an MQ in one of my SGs and it's supposedly similar to a P-91.  That really does do Dark
