Hey dakine....thats a great deal.

By the way as antother drop  dead Fender fan on BKP I must say I love your taste in guits.

I always envy people who buy solid colour strats/teles. Every time I go to buy one I end up with a burst.

I covet the solid colours and then buy a burst.  :?  go figure

Have you been able to find people to play with since moving back home?

JP, yeah play/jam around but my main interst there is in Texas (where I have the ingrediants of summit going on ;)). I am going back in March and will NEVER be away from Texas for long (truth be told am very sad bout this country anyway).
I just fell in lust with this Fender. I bought a Schecter PT Blackjack whilst in Texas in Dec. and liked it so much I bought a 'real' one :) And, after getting the Fender, it will NOT be my last :)

Muzz, I had 2 EBMM Axis, one HD and one Vintage Trem. Excellent guitars but did'nt gel with the nut width.
Sooooooooo bought the Petrucci.
I am not a Petrucci or DT fan so was a lil dubious and therefore HUNTED for the 2005 limited edt. as it was aged white (although Stirling called it Buttercream, sheesh).
What can I say. It is an immense quality instrument.
The oil unfinished neck is sublime.
ALL finish and fittings are 101%.
Comfort is amazing.
Only let down, for me, was the pups, they seemed 'wanting'.
Anyway, outta 3 EBMM I cannot fault ANY! They are not cheap but you DO get money's worth.
Not to everyones taste (least did'nt get the mystic dream lol) but superb nether the less.
BTW, I have the full piezo version and it KICKS BUTT!
Also, when changing the pups it has a circuit board for solder points and was simplicity itself, all about good design and forethought.
Nick

P.S. any more questions please just ask.
P.P.S. the PK clips (if ya did'nt see) are on the Pet.

horses for course bud :)
Meant Fender invented the Tele :)

It's scalloped and VERY thin (think wafer). AND imo NOT worth anything like a Custom SHop Fender (NOT my opinion per se, just is).
Some Luthiers just don't 'make' it and I aint a gambler ;)

Anyway, IMO, a REAL one would more be THIS ;);

but THIS, is DA shite!;
