Looking good - but why haven't they yellowed the fingerboard binding???

It has it on the sides that colour but I think the fretboard is finished in something different :)

Inspired by this thread I went to take a look at some Edwards guitars yesterday, I didn't play one but had a close look at an LP custom and also a Gibson historic LP Custom at about 5 times the price. The Edwards was slightly different to yours, it was gloss rather than matt and had open zebra pups but the attention to detail was exactly as you say, perfect! The Gibson was nice but it certainly didn't look like it was worth the extra cash, of course the truth is in the playing and I was more interested in trying the Eric Johnson Strat they had instead :)

Wow, it's good to know that the guitar I'm currently lusting over (http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ishibashi.co.jp%2Fwebshop%2Fguitar%2Fesp%2Fedwards%2Ferv138.htm&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2
) is from a ridiculously good line.  I was stunned by the specifications on the site- neck-thru construction, active EMGs and an ebony fingerboard for that price?  So it's good to know that Edwards does that kind of thing with all their guitars.  I love the Japanese.

Now I just need to somehow raise the money to purchase this bad beast

Not to mention official floyd rose trem! It does seem a fantastic value.

Yeah, I get distracted really easily.  My shopping list now features a Schecter C7 Hellraiser and this most wonderful Edwards :D  Need to get a job badly... :D
