Got the mules...review inside

Hey guys,
got the mules fitted into a 2002 PRS Singlecut.  The pickups before this were a Seymour Duncan Custom in the bridge and a custom 5 in the neck.  The mules I got came with Alnico II magnets...man they were just what I was looking for.  They clean up great, artificial harmonics just leap off the guitar, totally responsive to picking attack and they respond all too well to any amount of gain you put on them.  They just have a lot of magic to them that I've never heard with any other pickup.  The Alnico II's have that trademark spongyness that you would normally associate with this particular magnet, but they never get muddy or too loose, they are nice a clear especially with the right amp, notes stick out and they really sing, the sustain is amazing is really the only way to put it.  Tim has a customer for life...

the rebels are a bit more aggressive, more focused(becuase of the alnico V), they definetly have that "stadium rock" sound to them, whereas the mules I have are more Slashy, darker and a little less output in the bridge.  The Yells are in a Peavey wolfgang, whereas the PRS with the mules I can adjust the height, I've got them pretty low just to see what they sound like, they are so clear...The rebels clean up amazing, they are more of a modern rock pickup whereas the mules are very vintagey... both are amazing pickups...
