What the hell is up with the server lately?

it took me literally over 20 minutes to download one clip off the players section!
and over 1 minute to open up one thread/topic... this is getting ridiculous

what's going on? :evil:

I tried downloading a clip earlier today, about 2pm, and it was slow as hell - about 20 mins to take down a 5 meg clip, and pages are loading slower than before as well

No-one posted an URL (link) into the forum around recently did they? Say, the funny exam answers thread? I've got those pics off about 5 people this week, 'tis very popular. Sticking a link into the forum out into the DMZ would perhaps make the site slow due to a mental amount of traffic.

Slashdotted is the technical term, I believe :)

Just a thought from a grizzled computer scientist.

Well I just got em in a chain email thing so I assume they're everywhere anyway..

The forum has been really slow for me for a while now, I noticed.
