I'm thinking about one of these for my Feline LP to work with the Ghost MIDI pickup!

The guitar won't look any different as its all hidden inside, but that thing won't be hard to work, some of the video clips on the site for midi recording in to a sequencer were impressive.

Axon is the system for converting to MIDI; it's the Jaguar of guitar-to-MIDI.

I like my Roland gear, but that's mostly due to the fact that I got all the Roland gear before I knew about Axon!!

I know that John McLaughlin was a big Axon user, mostly with his Wechter nylon string with built in midi. I think he said in the advertising that it's the only system that could track as fast as he can play.
Now with his Godin and Mike Sabre guitars he uses a Roland GI-20. It's only an interface, no internal sounds so you still need a synth module or maybe you can use Cubase plug-ins on your computer, John uses the sounds in Apple's Logic Pro.
