« on: April 06, 2007, 10:12:39 PM »
I definitely want some defined crunch, but reall want some deep neck cleans

As well as a nice mid position sound

Has anyone tried this config?

i'd go for a VHII calibrated set if i were you. The VHII will do lovely warm cleans in the neck position, which would also be wound with a lower output than the bridge pickup.
The benefit of a calibrated set is that they are both wound specifically for eachother, i.e. they would balance perfectly and have a great in-between sound
LOVING the Mules!
