Good strat replacement neck + tuners?

Getting sperzels from the us ebay is the way to go. I've bought loads from there and if you email the seller beforehand they can mark the item down as a gift which in total costs you about £35 delivered. Beats paying £60 over here!

I think you should get a modern neck Tom, that one of Phils doesnt suit at all!
And while im at neither does black knobs/covers etc

What exactly is a "modern neck" ?!

I actually really like the tinted maple on the sunburst, the black covers might go though. Havent decided yet.

Well, I guess one with 22 frets and a flatter radius.  But the body's drilled for a vintage trem, so I think a vintage neck's a good match.

I like black parts on a white scratchplate too, it's what I have on my Strat.  That way you can see the pickups from a distance!

Oh I see.. I prefer the tinted! The neck I bought off PhilKing arrived today, it looks great (though I need to get a new neckplate coz mine has the wrong screw spacing:

I think I'll like this soft v shape, feels nice in the hand! Just need a new bridge and pickups now!

I'm surprised, I thought they were pretty standard.

Looks good!  Did it turn out that the neck fitted without you having to widen the pocket?

Well the holes on the neck plate dont line up with those on the body, so I hope a new one will fit better. It was really hard to tighten the screws in all the way, gave me blisters trying to do it properly earlier and I still didnt get them in all the way

As for the neck heel, it fits in easily. I have a feeling the pockets slightly too big actually, its not as snug as I would've thought.. hope that doesnt affect anything.
