Nailbomb trouble
« on: April 09, 2005, 05:31:35 PM »
I recently had a nailbomb fitted in my charvel strat and i have noticed that the sound is increddibly treble-y and bright, almost single coil like especially when playing powerchords on the low strings. Could this be cause by impropper installation. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds to me like it's been wired out of phase-it's a meaty sounding pickup and certainly wouldn't sound trebley in anything it's fitted to.
Give me a call- 01598 763666 and I'll talk through the wiring with you to get it sorted out ASAP.
