Some recordings of the cover band..
« on: May 05, 2007, 03:37:17 PM »
We decided to do some simple recordings in the cover band just because.. the quality is pretty bad as it was an SM58 in the middle of the room straight into my mates laptop

Listening back theres quite a few mistakes (especially our bassist, he really gets into it but ends up playing wrong notes :x), but its ok and I'm bored so I might as well post them up  :) We'd only been playing Paranoid together for the 2nd time when recording this so thats why it doesnt sound great.

Got a gig tomorrow night (first one in almost a year), shiteting myself allready

Sounds good, I like the Thin Lizzy one best. How did the gig go?

Yeah, the Thin Lizzy ones my favourite as well :) Gig went really well, the pub was packed and got a huge cheer after each song, so it was great  :D I made a load of c--k ups (especially in the last Sweet Child O Mine solo..), but no one seemed to notice so it was allright! We even got some free pints at the end of the night so it was all good.

Also, the guy who runs the pub said we were the best band he's ever had in there  :o
