Mother's Milk set installed; I'm in love.

It's been awhile, I know. I've had the Mother's Milk set installed for a few weeks now and it's been fantastic. Wired everything myself with the third tone knob as a blender pot. I was a bit surprised everything worked correctly as it was my first wiring job, but it sure sounds great. Perfect 60's Strat tone, and when the mids are cranked it gets this really chunky blues tone that sounds kind of like Henry Garza of the Los Lonely Boys. I also shielded the cavity, and there is virtually no noise. It's so strange, but in a good way. I really couldn't be happier with these pickups and recommend them to everyone.

Excellent my fellow single coil friend.I was seriously thinking of getting another Strat just to get some MM's and you know, I may still do so.Especially if you go on posting like that.

Funny thing happened today - I discovered that my MMs are cleaner and less rawk than my apaches!  MMs = smoother, more Hendrix a al The Wind Cries Mary/Hey Joe - Apaches - more Voodoo Chile, All Along the Watchtower.  How can this be?  I don't care, both similar but great pickups.
