why are "The Mules" called this way?

I think i remeber reading somewhere it's because of the Gov't Mules band... Warren Haydes stuff...
I started my own record label.
It's called Stand Out Records.
We ONLY use Bare Knuckle Pickups...

I always thought it was "The Mule" by Deep Purple. But naming it after ol' Warren would make more sense.

Dont let that put you off though, as I know you're into metal. Mules will do metal fine so long as you have a decent amp, maybe a booster (depending how tight you like your tone) and dont pick like a pussy :P

its warren h-I am a Mule freak, and it nails it....paired with a warren h modded Soldano and its dead on!..plus anything else really-a great all arounder-I really hear it in the low end-got the right bite!if anyone wants warren at his best, check out DOSE..really a tremendous work!
