I originaly was going to get a Sinner myself until I contacted Tim, I told him I wanted something that could get a Leslie West sound (P90) and still be able to sound like a Strat, he suggested a Trilogy bridge pup with a zinc plated steel plate on the bottom for added midrange punch and was right, that pup can scream along with a P90 and still clean up for the Strat sound, @ 16k I was actually worried that it might be "too" hot but it turned out perfect.
I do a lot of Jazz and Country gigs too tho and use a clean sound quite a lot, but in the recording studio I need it to be able to do it all and this one does- I just came out of the recording studio the other nite (Thursday) and it did admirably (above and beyond the call) on every tune from Rock to Blues to Country.
If you're more of an agressive player tho (percentage wise) I'd tend to agree that a Sinner might suit you best, but I wouldn't overlook the Trilogy for a good contemporary sound that can still sound classic.
