I can get my hands on one for £800 quid, i just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them.

Im after a high gain amp, i really wouldnt mind a stack but i think its gonna be a lot of money, and i just dont need that amount of volume, just lots of crunch and gain!

so what do any of u guys think the nomad? is a good buy? or would it not suit my needs?

For that kind of money you can almost get a new Mesa X:Press, which IMO sounds far better.

Actually in that price range there are many many good options.

Why don't you try it out and only buy it if it's damn awesome?

I've got one.Special amp.Outstanding quality.You can get amazing tone BUT it's a difficult amp to operate.His versatility is also his weakness as the controls are incredibly sensitive.It's a 3 channels (2 modes by channel),completely separated with full control (EQ etc.),amp with Reverb & parallel effect loop (nice footswitch w/boost,ch,rev.).You can use 6L6 and EL34 (switch).The clean ch. is outstanding,a thing of beauty ,really..I use a Marshall 4x12 cab in combination with the 2 Black Shadows (Celestion) inside.Alone,it's a bit "stiff"..So,it's really not "plug&play...It takes time to fine-tune it for each guitar-model.And it's a beautiful amp to watch :) too...

I don't agree. 8)I didn't like the Express that much... But the Express will replace the F-serie wich is the cheapest M&B.The Nomad was a very expensive amp..But it's a VERY difficult amp to try out...so,it's maybe the same for the Express :)
