BKP single coils
« on: October 28, 2007, 01:32:32 AM »
Hi again all!

I recently decided to go for Holy Diver (B) and Cold Sweat (N) but I can't get out of my mind the HSS configuration too.

So, if I go for HSS I'm thinking the HD and the Trilogy single coils.

The thing I'd like to ask is:
Can Tim make the single coil ones like the EMG single-coil base shape? You know without that.....thing? I don't know how it's called. lol

Pics will describe the situation better:

I prefer this:

to this:

The angled base plate in the 2nd....This is what I mean.;)

Thank you!

Edit: I thought to e-mail Tim, but I just thought to ask here first, in case someone knows.

EMG-shaped single-coils certasinly used to be available, but I'm not sure if they still are.

It's probably quickest to ask Tim direct.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

As far as I know they are still available, I have had one in the past.  You need to add a note on the order to say that you need an EMG baseplate.
