New stuffs: EQ, and my first thoughts
« on: November 28, 2007, 09:53:35 PM »
After courier issues and the like, it arrived. haven't had a chance to get the amp cranked with it, but it has changed the amp completely at low volumes.
I was feeling that the overdrive from my JCM900 was a little harsh, and it is so smooth now :)
Settings are like a little bit of a wave all the way along and then a bit of a rise for treble.
bypass is good... won't be using it
this is my first attempt at an EQ and was worried as I don't have the sound in my head that I want to achieve, but managed to find what I was looking for.

My reasons for getting 31 bands was due to value. Can only find the KK one on eBay, so thought £40 was an alright deal (inc. postage)

There it is:

Shall update when I get the amp on 6 at the weekend

whoa... BKP hit 2000 members
