sorry, I begrudge paying for picks at all and usually barter for a couple when i buy strings (poor student). The phrase "polymerised animal protein" made me chuckle because it reminded me of when I once read the ingredients on a  hotdog tin and saw they were made of "mechanically recovered chicken".

I guess they need to do something with the inedible bits but £14 each seems an awful lot for some old bits of hoof. :(

£14 each? Hahahaha, that's retarded.

25p each for Dunlop Nylons = win.

I'm kind of with Martin on this one......but I loose too many picks (I think the cat likes to fight with them) so this would be a complete waste of money for me.

I can certainly see the benifits....and at the end of the day, it's all about the tone  :P
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

i don't agree with the usage of any animal products simply for the utility of tone.  This "polymerised animal protein" business sounds fishy to me.  I think this is inherently wrong unless i know more about how they are made, they don't give you any details on the website about how that poly cr@p is made which i think refutes their point of "guilt-free" ; they are only giving you the option to be guilt free because they don't even tell you where this shite comes from. $%&# THAT!

Bone nut is one thing, but this seems to be something entirely different.

i used to have 2 original tortise shell picks from the 70s, and then my $%&#tard friend broke one. How stupid can you be. those things are worth alot of $%&#ing money, and made from endangered species.
my maxon OD 808 really DOES make poop sound good
