Ceramic Warpig for 80's metal?
« on: October 26, 2007, 11:49:52 PM »
So ive been contemplating different pickups mostly the miracle man and warpigs (ceramic and alnico)  And i like to play alot of sabbath and rhoads.... some irond maiden some kiss... stuff along those lines but also other heavier stuff such as dethklok... alot of ozzy and zakk wyldes newer stuff(BLS)

im wanting to know can the cwp do all this? and do it good?

would the warpig neck (alnico) have a good clean?
because i do value my cleans.. used to not but omg i mustve been crazy back then...

I'd say Nailbomb, does all you mentioned and more - the cleans are better than the Warpig too.

Holy Diver i would say. The MM and CWP are too powerful and high gain for the bands you've listed. Holy Diver screams 80's metal and it can also go heavier if you need it for your Zakk Wylde needs :D
Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.
