Has anybody here tried the Mad Professor Mighty Red Distortion?
'Cause Christmas is approaching and i think i will put a distortion pedal on my wish list.
I mostly play eighties hard rock/glam metal.
Bands like Whitesnake, Gary Moore, Dokken, Maiden, Dio, Bon Jovi etc.

From the clips online it sounds absolutely brilliant.

So will it be able to do nail those tone? And if not do you have any alternatives?

Rock On!

There are UBER expensive. No clue about any of what you're asking though sorry    But way cheaper and with the same kind of sound is the MI Audio Crunchbox which I loved.

That sounds very nice. You could get a crunch box shipped from the US if you want one. In fact I think many people in UK who has one did just that.

This shop is selling a Hot British for 180 EUR (where I bought Budda today).

Might fit the bill for the tone you're after

Nope. But they're supposed to be real amp like sounding.

You could also get a taste of Budda before going all the way:

The Zenman looks interesting too.

I'll look at a few clips and try to compare.

The MI Audio website lists http://pedaler.eu/ in Denmark as a dealer. Pedaler don't list the MI Audio pedals (yet) on their own site, but it sounds like they are certainly worth a call.  The MI Audio dealers in the UK certainly have Crunchboxes at a very good price (IMO). I see no reason why the Danish outlet should not be the same.
