Everyone say's it's incredible but nobody seems to use it to record anything that people will pay money for. They have some endorsing artists that are quite big names, but I'm not sure what they do with it.

On Fear Factory's Transgression album NI are credited and I think that Christian Olde Wolbers used it for some aspect of that recording but it would be nice to know exactly what he did with it.

I think that PC/MAC based amp modelling and embedded system amp modelling hardware can make sounds that are easily good enough to put on a CD but most name guitarists aren't adventurous enough to try it.

The thought of poking around with a laptop in a small gig environment isn't very attractive. I think that for recording though if the rest of your gear is up to standard and you are recording at 192KHz/24bit then it is definitely a serious recording setup and after mastering to the lower audio quality of a commerical CD people won't know if it's been miked or modelled.

it's used on transgression for cleans, the lead guitarist in norther has used it for posting clips on their forum, and Trent Razor uses it for something

I've acquired 3 now, it deffo sounds better than 2, not sure if the amps sounding better or if it's the matched cabs thing as I find it a lot easier to tweak than the old cab system
