Folks,
I need a portable click. One that goes up to as-high-as-possible. Like 300bpm (I cant play quite that fast, but I
need
up to 270 or so)
I cant find one. Anybody know about one?
Thanks
Mark

Are you intending to buy one, or just from a free program? I'm certain all programs with a 'click' can do 300 bpm.

errrr.
Read the post guys - He's talking about a portable one..
I recommend something from Seiko, I use one of theirs, but it has a maximum of 300.
If you went for a more digital one, you might get more choices.

That's what I thought as well, so I posted:

But then thought otherwise.

Well for the metronome itself to be portable I think it's safe to assume Mark wants a stand-a-lone unit.
I've always liked the look of big flashy ones like this:

Although it's not exactly practical to put in your pocket and take around with you.
Probably a digital one is the best option?

If you have a basic grasp of maths and a metronome with divisions you can set it far higher than that.
I have a cheapo KORG model and can set it up to 832BPM (no reason to ever play that fast though) using the top setting and the semiquaver beat division.

Thanks guys, searching for the flashy korg on dolphin revealed many possibilities!
I'll order one soon enough. Cheers

Or just record some metronome mp3's for your walkman.

I bought a previous boss one of these once
http://www.bass-amps.com/item--EM.MM1
.
He claimed to get it over the 208 BPM by playing with the quad beats, but that was his claim not mine.
The little bugger is a bit loud though (the metrognome as they call it not my Ex boss)

Looks like I might be getting a laptop!
Hopefully weird metronome works with vista!!!
Actually I'm only getting it IF weird met works with it. Cos its gonna be a glorified metronome.
