I've finally decided to upgrade my Ibanez 1570 that I love.
Searching for a brutal metal tone on bridge , I've bought on a forum a Warpig calibrated set (the neck pickup seems fine to me: warm and powerful).
I'd also like to change the single pickup (Ibanez S1) since it won't be powerful enough to match the pigs.
I'd love to have a bluesy tone like Rory, SRV etc so i'm interested by the Irish tour but I think it 'll lack power.
Only the trilogy seems powerful enough to match my pigs but i fear that it won't have the tone I'm looking for.
So I ask you: WHAT SOULD I DO??
-take a trilogy
-take a Irish tour
-ask for a uber irish tour (if it's possible)
-forget the idea of having brutal and bluesy tones at the same time
