Volume drop
« on: January 19, 2008, 12:41:53 AM »
I just installed my Rebel Yells in my Hamer for the first time. But I'm afraid i did something wrong. The volume is just way way low.

I soldered the blacks and blanks wire to ground and the reds to the things on the volumepots which then goes to the pickup selector.

Exactly the way it was wired with the Duncans just two wires grounded instead of one.

I would appreciate any advice.

I'm assuming 4+ core conductor here

Make sure that the green and white wires are soldered together (and taped out of the way if not being used to coil tap the guitar)
