^ yeah, they've been out for ages. The combo is a whole different kettle of fish though, the ability to change output tubes, etc. I'd like to try one, at least.

Heard reports that they are pretty cr@ppy. Someone was saying the clean tone is almost non-existent and well worth avoiding...

Probably they will have a really cr@ppy speaker and the cheapest tubes available, but i cant imagine a simple tube amp like this can be really bad apart from that.

I'd heard this as well.

To get a clean tone you need to reverse the preamp and master settings and even then it doesn't give a true clean sound but tends to break very easily.

My search for a small tube amp for recording in the house continues ...  :cry:
