« on: December 18, 2007, 09:03:23 PM »
just recorded a quick sample of a song my new band are currently writing/recording

let me know what you think

for this i used

Agile AL2500 with miracle man bridge
toneport with missisipi criminal amp v30 speakers
drum kit from hell
and good ol midi bass for now.

Didnt actually mean for it to sound so heavy we even tuned up for it.

That's very bleedin' heavy!! :D

Which is obviously a good thing.

Oh I mostly meant the song. Reminds me of some early Death material. But I liked the tone. A less gain and a little more mids would suit my taste better, but I don't know if it's a growly or scooped sound you're going for.

That's one hell of a tone ! Nice work Tony ! (And nice playing too)

I would like a touch of mids more, but I guess it might not sound as brutal and full, if you know what I mean.

Good luck with your (relatively) new band !

EDIT : WITH THE TONEPORT ?! Gotta get me a PODX3. Now.

I like it. It reminds me of modern Sabbath, if you get my drift.

Nice stuff.

hi sounds not bad, you need to lower the volume of the drums and get the guitar to be more overpowering in the mix. Overall sounds like it will be a cool tune if you develop it more ;)

drumkit from hell is pretty good huh? how exactley are you programming in it?

i program the drums in guitar pro then import the midi into cakewalk
and process it using dkfh and then eq each drum from there
