LP Black Dog Bridge Mule Neck + Guitar Port
« on: February 17, 2008, 11:45:50 PM »
Hi Guys,

I bought a guitar port today just for some fun.

Ive not recorded anything before so thought it would be a good place to start as i have no idea.

I was inspired by a clip posted recently doing this song so I looked up the tab and gave it a go.

The rhythm part is the Mule Neck using a fender b man simulator and the lead is a Black Dog Bridge using a Plexi lead type simulator + my Black Star Duel Pedal. Both use a holygrail reverb pedal.

This software is so easy to use. It tooks minutes to understand the basics. Just press record and select the cab+amp. I forgot to put the metronome on mute and i cant seem to shorten it so the playing stops and the ticking continues for another minute sorry.

This is my first post and first attempt at recording something. Any tips would be appreciated. I had to turn the pages i printed so there are some gaps in the playing notably at 38seconds

Thanks

Perandor

Your playing is pretty good for a quick learning, which I guess you did just learn?  I would suggest next time to stop recording after the solo because you got my hopes up that you would play some more.  Take the backing track or whatever after 1:54.
